Spicy Spicy Pumpkin Seeds with Lime & Sea Salt
Kick, tang and salt are such a great combo and these fiery pumpkin seeds make for a fun snack or topping. Jeff and I devoured these in minutes. I’ll be sure to double the recipe next time. I also think this makes a great gift.
Before putting pepitas in oven be sure to taste one after seasoning to ensure there’s enough kick and salt. Add a pinch or two more if needed.
½ cup raw unsalted pumpkin seeds
1/8 tsp + 3 shakes chipotle or cayenne powder – taste for heat
1 ½ tsp olive oil
1 tbsp + 1 tsp lime juice
¼ tsp sea salt + pinch after toasted
Pre heat oven to 375 with rack in the middle
Line baking sheet with parchment paper
